Supporting the Adversity Awards with a 105 miles of challenging terrain

1 min read

To raise awareness and support the charity Adversity Awards, Pragma’s Mark Snow recently joined Lily Communications to take part in a 2017 Coast to Coast Rat-Race. The team conquered 105 miles of beautiful but challenging terrain with a 21-mile trek/run, 2-mile kayak and 83 mile cycle over 2 days.

The charity reaches out to communities to find young people who have ‘kept going’ when it was easier ‘to give up’. Faced with adversity – social, physical or learning difficulties – each Adversity Award winner has used sport to overcome what life has thrown at them.

Mark Snow, Account Manager at Pragma said “It was humbling to be part of a physical and mental challenge that supported such a worthy cause. It was a great experience and I would encourage everyone to take part .”

The Adversity Awards aspires to take the event UK wide and now, in its 3rd Year needs funding to continue this amazing way of building young people’s confidence and recognising them in a way that is truly Inspirational. If you have any spare change its really easy to still donate to this great cause https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lily-comms
