On Thursday, 25th March, we held our first virtual annual awards event, resulting in the Pragma HQ having its most footfall in the last 12 months. The office/ filming studio played the first-time host as the virtual event saw a great range of resellers tune in with their pre-sent treats as they join us to celebrate another year’s success.
The event began with a familiar warm-up from Will Morey, who provided some highlights on what Pragma and our resellers have achieved in the last year, along with some impressive stats on revenue, profitability and growth across Pragma and Candio.
The big winners of the night were announced by Tim Brooks via personalised showreels and pre-delivered awards packages. The winning teams included:
Overall Reseller of the Year: Berry Telecom
Reseller of the Year: 5G Communications Ltd
Reseller of the Year: Lily – Multi Award-Winning Business Communication & I.T. Solutions Provider
Reseller of the Year: Focus Group (UK)
Reseller of the Year: BDR Group
Cloud Reseller of the Year: 5G Communications Ltd
Case Study of the Year: Mint Telecom Ltd
Fastest Growing Reseller: Silver Cloud
Fastest Growing Reseller: Mtech Communications Limited
New Reseller of the Year: Cloud, Voice and Data
New Reseller of the Year: Excell Group
Candio Reseller of the Year: Focus Group (UK)
Candio Reseller of the Year: Southern Communications Ltd
Upon the first-round of award winner callouts, Focus Group and Southern were both recognised as Candio’s first Reseller of the Year winners. An award was achieved for both company’s roll-out of the Web Listings service to their customer bases.
Cloud pioneers, 5G Communications were recognised as the winners of Cloud Partner of the Year award. A prize that has been won by the 5G team twice in its three years of existence – this year, the team delivered an outstanding performance and not missed a beat through any UK national lockdown.
Consistently staying ahead of the curve and continuing to deliver excellent performances against the backdrop of a challenging market was Berry Telecom. Their outstanding efforts across all functions positioned them on top as they were awarded the prize of Overall Reseller of the Year for the third year in a row. Having only been a Pragma partner for the last 4-years, the Berry team are not messing around to stay at the top of the Pragma channel helm.
Raising money for the charities close to us continued to play its part during our awards event – albeit with a new virtual spin. The adapted game of Heads or Tails enabled us to raise an impressive, combined total of £3,890 for our chosen charities: St Peter and St James Hospice and Cancer Research.
Attendees gathered (virtually) as Patrick Johansen, the CEO of Ericsson-LG Enterprise congratulated the award winners and thanked everyone for their support to Ericsson-LG Enterprise.
We concluded the event in the only style we know-how – with something exciting and motivating, of course. To launch the latest Pragma incentive trip to Marbella, attendees were shown not just the video intro of ‘I want to break free’ by Queen but with Tim and Will superimposed as characters in the video, then mixing into a tempting incentive trip video. The event then ended with a rallying call from the Pragma team to join them in October to catch the last of the summer sun in what we know will be another fantastic trip.
We wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone for making the event such a success. The interaction and engagement from everyone who attended really emphasised what a tight reseller community we have together. Hopefully, this gives you a taste of what’s to come once national restrictions are lifted, and we are able to celebrate together once again.
